You have to buy meal plans (200k won for 80) which you can use for breakfast and dinner — but they are horrible — I used them to buy fruits instead. Lunch is around 4k-5k won. You don’t have to pay for the dorm in Songdo — but looks like Yonsei is gonna charge you for the dorm there soon, so apply quickly :))

What costed me most when I stayed there was yashik aka. night meal (everybody does that, you should too). I always order chicken, around 17k won for a box that can feed 4 people.

As for Sinchon, I live in Ihouse (a dorm) which costs me 1414k won a semester (other options include Muak (cheaper) and SK Global house (more expensive)). Meals are MUCH MUCH MUCH better than Songdo’s. You pay around 3k - 6k won for a filling meal at various dining halls in the campus.

Actually, to argue/persuade, the important thing is your argument. Of course one can get away with speech manner and flowery language, but I find a strong argument much more persuasive. I believe that while it is okay for people to find fault with your grammar and vocabulary (of course, not serious and/or repetitive mistakes), we all should try to form a strongest, most articulate, and honest argument possible—such that none can refute.

Thank you. Personally I think that my English sucks. That you find it “sharp,” I think, actually means I am good at insulting people. No, really, I honestly think that I can hurt people with my words and I believe that my vocabulary of insult is larger than any other.

But my tip of learning English is watching movies with subtitles. Teen movies are great, tons of slangs and cool hip words. Classic are amazing, beautiful phrases and you can simply quote one random scene and you sound like a philosopher.
